Common questions

How can I make sure my application stands out?

We treat all applicants with equal time and consideration, and we'd love to see your application shine! To make it stand out, there are a few things you can do.

Firstly, show us your enthusiasm by doing some research and letting us know why you're interested in joining our team. Along with your CV, we love seeing cover letters or portfolios (if you'd like to include one), anything that can help us get a sense of who you are and what you're passionate about.

Secondly, take a close look at our different job descriptions and only apply for the roles that you're genuinely interested in or that match your experience. If you meet a number of the requirements, but not all, we encourage you to submit your application.

I know someone who works at Endeavour. Can they refer me?

Absolutely! It's a good idea to get in touch with them before submitting your application. They might be able to forward your information internally, so make sure to share your CV and any other relevant details you think they might need.

Can I apply for a position if I don't have the appropriate Australian work rights?

We’re committed to promoting a culturally diverse workplace where all candidates are considered in a manner that allows Endeavour to comply with Australian immigration legislation and obligations.

A person can legally work in Australia if they are an Australian citizen or permanent resident, or they hold a valid visa with permission to work. Accordingly, the status of a candidate's work rights will be discussed with them as part of the recruitment process.

If a candidate does not hold suitable work rights for a particular role, they will be required to obtain the appropriate visa or work permit prior to commencing work with us. In this instance, we suggest checking the Australian government's Department of Home Affairs website for information on the different types of visas available and how to apply for them.

In some instances, we may explore sponsoring a skilled worker to come to Australia, or sponsor a skilled worker already located in Australia, however we will only do so in certain circumstances, including where an Australian citizen or permanent resident with the skills and experience needed for the role cannot be found.

What is the minimum working age?

Because of the industries we work in, and our commitment to responsible service and compliance, we employ people aged 18 and over.

What can I expect once I submit my application?

You should expect a response from us confirming your application has been received. The recruitment process will then take place in the weeks following and we’ll update you as you progress through the process. This may be slightly longer in busier recruitment times such as Christmas and Easter.

Can I only complete my application online?

Not necessarily! You are most welcome to drop a resume off at any of our hotels, BWS or Dan Murphy’s retail stores or even our Cellar Doors! If successful, you will eventually need to apply to the role online so we can complete onboarding into the business.

How do I apply to work in a BWS or Dan Murphy's store?

We’re still working on our new careers site, so right now you’ll find a selection of BWS and Dan Murphy’s in-store roles here.

Soon you’ll be able to search for all roles in our retail stores, but for now, if you can’t find what you are looking for, you can find additional opportunities by clicking here - you can filter by brand and location to find a role that best suits you. Alternatively, pop into your local BWS or Dan Murphy’s store to see if they have a role that might suit you.
