The mission of the Valley View Human Resources Department is to recruit, support, and retain staff by complying with Illinois State regulations and by listening to the needs of our stakeholders. The Valley View HR Department strives to maximize the potential of our students by recruiting quality personnel, and by providing accurate, timely and courteous services to all our employees and stakeholders.
State legislation requires all school districts to annually report the previous year’s salary and benefits for administrators and teachers.
Pursuant to Section 10-20.4774 of the Illinois School Code, the Administrator and Teacher Salary and Benefits Report must be presented at a regular school board meeting and posted on the district website annually by October 1st. The report requires that we list benefits without limitation including vacation days, sick days, bonuses, annuities, and retirement enhancements.
In accordance with Public Act 097-0609, an amendment to the Open Meetings Act, the posting of the Employee Total Compensation Package subject to this amendment is required within six (6) business days following the adoption of the annual budget. The Valley View School District 365U budget for fiscal year 2023-2024 was adopted on September 25, 2023.
